ID Announces Cozy Party Platformer Game Totopia During Xbox Showcase, Kicks Off Beta Recruitment
That’s definitely a different take on the cozy genre.

I mentioned in another post today that I’d received a press release for a new cozy game. Well, this is it. It has the things you’d expect from a cozy game: housing, farming, fishing, fashion, and the like. But it’s not another RPG or general simulator. Instead, the big focus is on the party-game platformer content.
Just… basically imagine someone smashed Fall Guys together with portions of a cozy game, and you have JNG Studio’s Totopia. The game features a “party hub” where players can gather together and engage in social activities, like hanging out at a cafe or fishing. There are outfits to collect, a Soulsync mechanic that allows players to bond with their companions, and an area where players can build their home and farm, known as Pulse Avenue.
On the party-game side, Totopia features more than 100 maps with activities such as racing, brawls, and the like. You can get a peek at some of the maps in the video below.
As mentioned above, the developer has opened registration for beta testing. To take part, go to the game’s Steam page and click “Request Access”.
