Legends Of Runeterra's Yordle-Themed Expansion Arrives This Month
Legends of Runeterra players will go Beyond the Bandlewood later this month, in the latest expansion for Riot Games' free-to-play collectible card game. It adds 126 new cards and has strong yordle theme, as you can see in the oh-so-cute video below.
Bandle City decks make heavy use of multi-region cards. If you build a deck with such cards, you're required to have a single-region card from either of the cards' two regions, which is explained in detail, with examples, in the announcement post. In addition to multi-region cards, Beyond the Bandlewood offers "all sorts of magic," in the form of new cards from every other region and new keywords.
The expansion includes nine new champions, including Teemo and Veigar, as well as the decidedly non-yordle Caitlyn, who has a supporting role in the video.
Beyond the Bandlewood releases on August 25.
