New Skirmish Mode Variant Introduced In Valorant’s Latest Act
This is the next evolution of Skirmish.

On April 29, Riot Games will release Valorant’s Season 2026, Act 3 update, bringing with it an evolved form of the free-to-play shooter’s Skirmish mode, Skirmish: Ascension, featuring 1v1 and 2v2 play and a leaderboard powered by For The Win. When playing this mode, players will be provided with a pool of Agents that have limited abilities. Each agent is equipped with a single, carefully chosen ability. Players are also supplied with staged weapons.
In addition to the new mode, the Act will also bring a new Kuronami collection, building on previously released content. It will remain familiar to players but include new weapons and a new melee experience. Of course, there will be a new battle pass as well, offering players plenty of new rewards.
