Lost Ark's Rise Of The Valkyrie Update Brings New Class, Events, And Major System Changes
Extra Powerpass, revamped Ebony Cube rewards, and Tier 3 skill unlocks.
Lost Ark’s “Rise of the Valkyrie” update is bringing major content and balance changes to Arkesia.
Players of the free-to-play MMORPG will get an additional South Kurzan Powerpass to help expand their roster or try new classes, stacking with any unused passes. The new Valkyrie class arrives alongside a “road/path” style event with rewards scaling from item level 1640 to 1680, including Honing Materials, progression items, and four bound Tier 4 Level 7 Gems. Challenge missions will feature bosses Aegir and Brelshaza.
The Ebony Cube system is overhauled: rewards will double, but cube ticket drop rates are cut by 50% across all sources. To balance this, two existing tickets will convert into one ticket with doubled rewards. Additionally, players can exchange Ebony Cube Tickets for Hell Keys weekly through the Paradise Exchange Vendor, with specific costs based on tier and key rarity.
Tier 3 players will unlock Hyper Awakening and Hyper Awakening Skills (T-Skills) to stay competitive in Crucible rankings and support new or returning players. Alongside the Valkyrie class and new skins, the update includes support class balance changes and other enhancements.
Full release notes will be available before the update’s release next week.
