Magic: The Gathering: Arena Kicks Off Two New Events
In response to the recent social distancing we're all forced to endure, Wizards of the Coast has decided to provide Magic: The Gathering: Arena fans with some new things to do. Today, they announced two specific events. The first allows players to participate in the Brawlers' Guildhall without paying the entry fee. The second is the Theros Beyond Death Rank Draft -- that will run in addition to the bi-weekly ranked draft events.
These events appear to be loosely associated with the Friday Night Magic at Home program. This program offers players various things to do -- currently for free -- and keeps them in contact with local gaming stores via existing communities or through Discord.
Both the No Entry Fee Brawl and the Theros Beyond Death Ranked Draft will run until April 16. A rundown of other planned stay-at-home activities can be found on the Wizards of the Coast site.
