Marvel Heroes Team Up

Change is brewing on Marvel Heroes' Test Center server. As spelled out in a post on the forums, summoned heroes will see quite a few changes to their damage effects and itemization.

Summoned allies will receive their owners' offensive stats for the purposes of scaling and only the highest typed damage stat will apply. To further simplify matters, a new "Summon" keyword will be what applies to bonus damage, rather than melee or ranged, and powers that used to scale off summoned ally damage will be treated as if they had the Summon keyword.

There's more to look over in the forum post -- a lot of it the kind of nitty-gritty details that min-maxers will enjoy -- so head on over and check it out. There's no ETA on when these changes will move over to the live game.
