Warframe Prepares To Celebrate Lucky Number 13 With Anniversary Events
The nearly 2-month event begins this week.

It’s been just about 13 years since Digital Extremes first released Warframe. The free-to-play RPG shooter launched on PC on March 25, 2013. IT was followed later on PlayStation 4 in November. Since then, it’s been released on almost every available platform, including Android just last month. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will release on the game’s thirteenth anniversary.
To celebrate the milestone, DE is getting started a bit early, kicking off the anniversary event on March 13 – this Friday. They haven’t provided a ton of details on the event yet, but we do have a general overview. We know the event will last nearly two months, ending in May. We also know that while it’s active, players will be able to take part in special Weekly Alerts, Elite Mode Alert variants, and more. And there will be rewards. Of course, there will also be real-world items up for grabs as well, including all-new merch. More details on the event will be available later in the week.
