Magic: The Gathering Arena fans recieved a fairly big update today. Titled Amonkhet Remastered, this update is the first ever digital exclusive card set for the game and features 338 cards from two of the physical card sets: Amonkhet and Hour of Devastation -- Both decks with an Egyptian theme.
Amonkhet Remastered is centered around creating a repeatable Draft player experience while offering new ways to play. It introduces brand new mechanics -- mostly starting with the letter 'E'. Embalm and Eternalize allow players to create new zombie variations of creatures by pulling from the graveyards. Exert gives a creature the ability to stop an oppoent from blocking, while executing powerful blocks itself.
