Neverness To Everness’ Opening Animation Is Kinda Dark
Things take a turn, quickly.
Hotta Studio is preparing to kick off the Neverness to Everness “Containment Test” (or Closed Beta) on July 3. The test, scheduled to run for about two weeks, will offer lots of players their first hands-on look at the urban-themed post-apocalyptic action RPG.
However, they won’t necessarily be going in blind. Earlier this week, Hotta shared the game’s opening animation, providing a peek at the game’s setting of New Helios and several characters. Things go dark fast as a Hypervortex appears in the sky, kicking off a disaster event, destroying the area, and changing people. Eventually, members of the Bureau of Anomaly Control appear, and we’re able to get a look at a few of the game’s playable characters.
Of course, a post-apocalyptic setting isn’t all that original for a gacha game (or lots of games for that matter). That said, the urban open-world setting and the approach are enough to have me interested.
