NTE Co-Ex Test

Late yesterday, Hotta Studio dropped an all-new trailer for its upcoming free-to-play “supernatural urban open-world RPG”, Neverness to Everness, announcing the game’s next beta or “Co-Ex” test. The test will take place in 2026 and be open to players on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. Those interested in participating will need to fill out a survey on the game’s site.

As for what players can expect from the test, the trailer below offers a little insight, although not the details. Thankfully, the press release offers more details. The test will introduce two new dungeons, The Bank and Hospital. These are team-based activities – something most MMO players are familiar with – and will require working together.

Another feature being introduced is “prison gameplay”. Players who break the law will be sent to jail and will be subjected to things like solitary confinement and other more mundane activities of being in prison. On the bright side, there’s always the option to try to escape.

New city-focused activities are being introduced as well. These include taxi rides, Mahjong, working at a coffee shop, and even fishing. It seems that if it’s something you’d be able to do in any normal city, you can do it.

Finally – and this is the part we know everyone really cares about – there will be new outfits. The new outfits are described as “minimalist” and “sleek”. They’re designed to be practical and won’t have all the little frills, like ribbons.
