New Souls-Like MMORPG, Dark Craft, Will Feature One-Off GM-Ran Encounters
Stuff will happen, whether you’re there to see it or not.

Today, developer/publisher Take Top Entertainment revealed a new MMORPG project titled Dark Craft. The game, which will be free-to-play when it launches, is described as being the “first MMORPG in the Souls-like genre and, despite the sort-of cute nature of the characters, is set in a dark world filled with abandoned villages, dangerous dungeons, and the like. The “Souls-like” aspect of the game is the game’s combat, which brings what players of the genre would expect into the world of an MMO.
Another feature of the game is that the action continues whether the player is there to see it or not. This is partially due to content being controlled by game masters who will command NPCs, appear as world bosses, give out quests, and trigger one-time events. Ideally, this should make every player’s experience unique.
Based on the trailer, the game’s world looks interesting. Although, the character design may not appeal to all. Still, if you’re looking for a Souls-like MMORPG, you’ll want to keep an eye on this one.
