Operation: The Yappening II Now Live In Halo Infinite, Featuring The Franchise's Most Beloved Species
"We're scared of a guy named John?!"
The Yappening returns to Halo Infinite.
Operation: The Yappening II brings forth the rise of the Unggoy. Sponsored by Glibnub, this event introduces Grunt-themed customization rewards, a new Forge map called Corrosion, and the Gruntpocalypse playlist to the shooter. Also, the Yappening II Operation Pass consists of 20 tiers of free customization rewards, letting players transform into soldier-sized Grunts via new armor, coatings, weapon charms, emblems, and nameplates.
Corrosion is a new Arena map set in an abandoned mineral refinery on Zeta Halo. The map is quite hazardous though, given the boiling green acid pits. There’s the Gruntpocalypse playlist too, which transforms Firefight: King of the Hill into a war against the Grunt for two weeks. Completing The Yappening II and other related Operation Passes earns players exclusive Halo Gear Rewards, including limited-edition pins and patches.
Players can contribute to the Banished on Zeta Halo by purchasing the Brands of Balaho bundle from the in-game shop as well. Proceeds from this bundle support the Banished following the Master Chief's actions. They can unlock the free Ultimate Reward, the Scav Patch hip attachment, by completing all challenges during the event week.
