orcs must die

A new update for Robot Entertainment's Orcs Must Die! Unchained released this week, introducing one of the more important social features for online games... guilds. Now players can create guilds and invite friends to join, giving them a place to hang out and chat while working together to unlock a variety of rewards.

As with all updates, this one contains a variety of adjustments and feature additions, which can be read about in full in the patch notes. That said, Robot Entertainment highlighted a few things other than the introduction of guilds that they feel players will be pleased with. These include the return of the 5-star nightmare -- a feature from previous Orcs Must Die! games, a new Refer-A-Friend system, new compact maps featuring the defense feeling of the original OMD! games, and the introduction of Bionka, the Queen Momma as a playable character in the game.

For fans of the original Orcs Must Die! games, this is one really promising update.

Actually there seem to be plenty of player online... you hardly wait more than a minute for a matchmake... and the game seems to have alot of potential - lots of customisation options, more and more playable characters coming and a nice pvp/pve mix witch the games nowadays are lacking... but in the end this is my own opinion

Wow. I wonder if anyone still plays this at all? I was in Alpha, and soon got annoyed by the mechanics. Never came back. None of my friends play it either.
