Big Outriders Content Update, New Horizons, Hits On Tuesday
Highlights of the free update include four new expeditions, class and skill balance, and totally free transmog system.
Outriders is taking its players to a New Horizon -- that's not just a turn of phrase, but the name of the update that's due to hit People Can Fly and Square Enix's RPG shooter tomorrow. The free update adds four new expeditions, a new "no cost, no mtx" transmog system, and various rebalancing overhauls.
Billed as "the culmination to the months-long work to improve the Outriders player experience," New Horizon also adds new weapon skins while making significant changes to classes, skills, and mods. The Tiagos Expedition store is also seeing changes, and there are new weapon skins for players to strive for to unlock. And, in a welcome change, expeditions no longer have timers, so you can slay at your own pace and not stress about clear speed.
As a closing touch, the developers also announced the Worldslayer expansion, which will be arriving in 2022. More details on that will be announced in the spring.
The New Horizons announcement can be found here, while the "mega-thread" on all the changes coming to the game can be found here.
