Overwatch 2 Reviews Currently Setting At "Overwhelmingly Negative" On Steam, Some Are Hysterical
It's not a good look for Overwatch 2 on Steam.
I'm assuming we all saw this coming. Overwatch 2 launched on Steam yesterday, and to say the reviews are not favorable would be a huge understatement. OW2 currently sits "Overwhelmingly Negative" on Steam, meaning the 47,984 people who have given the shooter a Steam review so far have not been fans of the latest practices of Blizzard.
Cited quite often is the canceled PvE Hero mode, which of course has been replaced with much lighter PvE "missions" which will set you back a smooth $15.
Even the first positive review that came up for me wasn't actually a glowing endorsement of the game.
The negative reviews are far easier to come by, as you might imagine since Overwatch 2 is "Overwhelmingly Negative" on the Steam platform.
One negative review simply dropped the Steam link to Team Fortress 2.
While another got more creative and gives a list of 50 games you can play for the same cost as either the $15 PvE pack or the $40 Ultimate Watchpoint pack. Then you get into the ones about the lack of any real content thus far.
You can head over to the official Overwatch 2 Steam page and check them out for yourself. As usual, it's a good time.
