The First Descendant March Update To Rebalance Sharen As Well As Introduce New Content
A new infiltration operation, melee weapon, and modules are all on the way.

Yesterday, during their latest developer livestream, The First Descendant team revealed the contents of the free-to-play shooter’s next update, arriving in just two days on March 12. In addition to several bits of new content, the update’s real focus is the rebalancing of Sharen to improve mobility and make things like the ‘Skill Module’ more useful to players. Some of the changes are intended to reinforce the ‘assassin concept’, adjusting her ‘Cutoff Beam’, Active Camouflage’, ‘Shock Nuts’, and ‘Flash Shortsword’.
In addition to the rework, the update will introduce a new infiltration operation titled Legion Laboratory. The operation is set in a facility originally designed to create a new legion and features indoor and outdoor areas. The boss, Sculptor, was once the head of the laboratory, but now he fills the role of the commander of the ‘Vulgus’ legion.
Other new additions coming with this update include the ‘Crime and Punishment’ dual-blade melee weapon and the ‘Tactical Disruption’ and ‘Bloody Deployment’ Trigger Modules. There are also three new defense modules being added to the melee weapon defense system which speed up defense gauge recovery or offer other benefits.
