Realm Royale Reforged Primal Island

Heroic Leap Games has added a new game mode to its third-person shooter battle royale Realm Royale Reforged.

Realm Wars takes place on a unique map, Primal Island, and features a 10v10 team deathmatch that lasts up to 15 minutes per round. The team with the most kills at the end is declared the winner. If a team is up by 40 kills or more after 5 minutes, the game will end early.

In addition, players will passively gain 20 shards every 5 seconds, which can be used to forge and upgrade loot between respawns. The forge times have been reduced to 1 second, and armor is always forged at legendary levels. Random events such as Forge Fire Sale, Rising Tides, Adrenaline Rush, Hard Dive, and Loot Fiesta will occur during the match.

Also, several bug fixes were made with this update, including fixing chests to be multi-lootable, resolving the primary cause of Hunter T-pose, and fixing armor regeneration after revival. Additionally, the issue of animation canceling on PC by tapping the equipped weapon key has also been resolved.

Moreover, several quality of life improvements have been added, such as reducing fog damage, allowing the healing station to be dropped after 1 second of use, and adding shard and potion counts to the user interface. The API has been updated to track player kills separately from bot kills and to track damage to armor in the damage stat, which was previously only tracking HP.

Aside from all those changes, the game has undergone several balance reworkings in various classes. Neutral weapons like the revolver and auto sniper have been reworked. The Engineer class has received changes to rocket dash, thrust cooldown, and turret duration. Assassins have received changes to decoy invisibility and sniper rifle. The Warrior class has received changes to javelin, heroic leap cooldown, and charge forward movement, and Mages have received changes to ice staff and fireball.
