Release Date Announced For Pax Dei Proving Grounds Patch
The update will help players start their adventures earlier in the game.
The first update intended to reshape the world of Pax Dei has a release date. In an announcement posted on the game’s site, Mainframe revealed that the MMORPG’s “Proving Grounds” update will be released at 9 am on November 5 UTC. The devs expect a 4-hour downtime prior to the update launch. That’s if nothing goes wrong.
This update will introduce a series of features and changes intended to get the players adventuring earlier in the game. Enemy camps are placed nearer to Home Valleys. Gear is rebalanced. New spells and equipment are being introduced.
In addition, the world map has been reworked and includes a new biome as well as a new resource distribution. These changes are being put in place now to set things up for the game’s future economic system.
The update will delete all current shards and introduce a new set following the update. Clans will be wiped as well. However, players don’t have to worry about their characters other than possibly renaming them. A list of new shards can be found on the Pax Dei site.
