Aion Will Get An All-New Class In The Upcoming Dread Blade Update

Today, NC America announced the next Aion update, Dread Blade. The highlight feature of this update is a new class of the same name. The Dread Blade class is the free-to-play MMORPG’s first real hybrid class, allowing players to use magic and weapons in combat. The class inflicts status effects on enemies with physical attacks, can remove their own debuffs, and is able to restore status with magic. It also features AoE skills, allowing the class to control the action on the field. Another ability allows the Dread Blade to swiftly move to enemies with lower health to dispatch them.

In addition to the new class, the Dread Blade update introduces four new dungeons and two enhancement revamps. The update also includes special gifts for players, the Dread Blade Starter Coupon and the Dread Blade Update Gift. These items are available between now and May 26.
