If you were following Final Strike Games' 3v3 shooter Rocket Arena at any point, you might have noticed things have been a little quiet. (The last time we covered anything about the game was when it entered closed beta in May of 2019.) Well, now it seems the game is back and ready to launch.

Originally part of Nexon's publishing lineup before a falling out between the two companies, the game is now being distributed by EA, and was part of the EA Live lineup earlier today. With its re-reveal at the streamed event came the announcement that the game would launch a month from now on July 14. And, when it does, it will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as on PC via both Origin and Steam.

So, if you've been wondering what happened to the game, there's your answer. One other thing that you should know is that the game now has a price tag. While the prices aren't listed on the official site yet, (It just has some pre-order information up.) IGN has revealed that the gam will be a live service game costing $29.99 at launch. There will also be a $39.99 premium bundle that includes the game's first battlepass. According to the piece EA's spokesperson has stated that there won't be any pay to win mechanics or lootboxes in the game.

Of course, this means we won't be covering the game after this... unless it goes free-to-play at a later time.

Pfft, wouldn't play this bore even if it was free.

"According to the piece EA’s spokesperson has stated that there won’t be any pay to win mechanics or lootboxes in the game."

^ Like it's actually possible for literally ANYONE to state anything other than "NO" in regards to p2w. Lol. They'd get fired instantly lmao.
