Rodinia War Moves Into Closed Beta
Ons On Soft, the developer of Fiesta Online, is moving their upcoming MMORPG/Strategy hybrid game, Rodinia War, to closed beta. Rodinia War is a combination of 2D strategy gameplay and 3D action within one MMORPG, playable for free either in a browser or as a downloaded client. Players create their hometown and build empires by forging alliances or conquering their enemies’ cities. However, gamers don't just rest in their castle to watch the war from the sidelines but support their efforts within the strategy part by completing missions and fighting enemies in a huge, open 3D world with their knights. Attracting and developing heroes of one of five knight classes is a key element of the game. Experienced knights will also be useful for the players’ kingdom, as generals in wartime or governors in peace.
Closed beta started yesterday, May 7th, in the Western and European markets and requires you to have received a beta key from the game's site or from a giveaway somewhere. I do like the genre mix here, it kind of reminds me of the old Actraiser games where you have city building aspects and then action aspects so the idea could work in my brain. On the flip side of that though, if the game embraces the bad aspects of both of these genres' cash shops, we could be in for a wild ride!
If you get a chance to check out the game, let us know your thoughts below!

the game unfortunately got very gold and you know how it goes after 10 years right, but i think its a game that deserves atention, it have everything any of those new games nowadays are lacking.
even a person with 300k hp can die without a healer, that's what makes the game so awesome and amazing, not excluding the fact that when your char is on the end game phase, its not over!!! you can "box" all your exp hunted and trade it for hp/mp unlimitedly, but the more you buy the more exp you need.
check it out please, i really would love a dark ages 2 or a remake for this game like a reset on the server, miss this game SO MUCH, if any of those new games had dark ages system, man, gold. so simply and so amazing.
