Developer Sparkypants and publisher Gameforge announced today that their free-to-play MOBA/RTS game Dropzone has arrived on the Steam store. Players can download the sci-fi game today via Steam Early Access.
In Dropzone, players command three weaponized battle rigs — each filling a different class role — at once. These rigs are paired with pilots in order to customize loadouts and feature hundreds of pieces of unlockable gear. During matches, players will need to capture key points including towers, all while fighting off enemy rigs.
To hop into Early Access today, you will need to spend a bit of cash. The game offers two editions, standard and Commander. Standard will run you $19.99, while the Commander Edition is currently on sale for $35.99. If you’d rather pick it up when it’s free, you’ll need to wait for the game’s official launch.
A moba thats not f2p… Yeah, I see this game tanking in a couple months.
why wase money to develop another “MOBA” 🙁 ITS SO A HIT AND MISS these days…
yes we are in the ”moba” generation you know why? you ask yourself why? because the devs dont have more Creativity for games dont have more creativity to make a history inside the games, the creativity in their minds just ”came to an end” if you see years back the moba did not exist this is recent stuff and already have a lot of fanboys out there saying that tps/rts are moba now this is a shame if these new gamers of this new generation see starcraft 1 from 90’s they will say ”this is a moba” haha, too bad the devs Could not keep the original names of game genres like RTS,FPS,MMORPG, the devs of today are more worried about the money with these mobas than awesome content inside of a RTS,FPS,MMO games,i miss the times when people just played unreal tournament and quake 3 arena, tiberian sun and this moba stuff genre did not even dream of being created.
