If You Can Heist, You Can Score ‘Big’ In Fortnite’s Most Wanted Event
Embark on the ultimate heist and become the most notorious squad during Fortnite Most Wanted.
Epic Games recently released the latest update for Fortnite, v23.40, Fortnite Most Wanted. Players will be able to complete a handful of Most Wanted Quests in the battle royale to raise their infamy and collect in-game rewards like the Gold Blooded Ace Outfit, Cash Stash Back Bling, and The Vault Guardian Pickaxe. The event will run until February 28, 2 AM ET.
Coupled with Fortnite Most Wanted, the v23.40 update also brings a host of new and improved weapons. Players will be able to Heist these weapons from Cold Blooded Vaults that can be opened with Vault Keycards dropped from defeated Cold Blooded Bosses. Once all the Cold Blooded Bosses have been taken down, players can enjoy a range of new weapons like the Heisted Breacher Shotgun, Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle, Heisted Accelerant Shotgun, Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG, and the Heisted Blink Mag SMG.
In Fortnite Most Wanted, opening vaults and eliminating opponents will raise a player's “Heat” Level in a match — trackable flame icons will appear in a player’s HUD. The more flames, the more hostile Cold Blooded members will be. It's not all bad news though; the more Heat, the better the rewards.
At one flame, eliminated opponents drop more Bars. At two, a player’s movement speed increases by 15%, and they’ll regenerate up to 100 Health out of combat. At three a player's movement speed increases by 20%, and they’ll regenerate up to 100 Health and 50 Shield out of combat. And at four, a player's movement speed increases by 25%, and they’ll regenerate up to 100 Health and 100 Shield out of combat.
Fortnite’s v23.40 update introduces a lot of exciting new heist-related content to the game and players are sure to have a blast with Fortnite Most Wanted. The new and improved weapons and performance optimizations also make for a more enjoyable gaming experience. Players that would like to learn more can read the full notes on Fortnite’s site.
