Skull And Bones Devblog Offers All The Details On How To Prepare For Combat
You have to put in the work if you want to get the booty. Yeah, we said what we said.
Piracy isn’t just sailing ships and hoarding treasure. Somewhere along the line, you have to get your hands on both. And the only way to do that as a criminal of the sea is to...well...commit crimes, of the violent variety. That means attacking ships and engaging in combat both on land and at sea.
The thing is, you can’t just roll up on someone and pick a fight. These things have to be planned out – even if you’re just playing Skull and Bones. You want to be prepared. The good news is that you don’t have to figure out how to do that alone. Instead, the Skull and Bones team has provided players with a handy guide on combat preparation. It covers things like provisioning – because you need resources like ammunition, repair kits, food, and more. You’ll also want to make sure your crew is up to the task. This means providing them with a morale boost using bonfires.
Once those things are done, the next thing you’ll want to do is seek out your victims...er...potential loot. This requires scouting, so grab the spyglass and get to identifying not just the target ship, but its faction, rank, and possible loot. But, read the guide first, so you know you’re doing it correctly.
