In late August, we told you about Skyforge’s Alien Invasions. The first Alien Invasion by the plantlike Phytonides was a success with players grouping together to repel the threat and protect Aelion. Today, My.com has announced that the Mechanoids, Skyforge’s next Alien Invasion, have begun touching down across the world in the free to play MMORPG.

Although Mechanoids have been used throughout Aelion for technological advancement, “they are not our allies and the valuable data their hollow metal shells provide comes at a cost.” Defeat is not an option and the safety of Aelion along with the information that can be gathered from studying the Mechanoids is paramount.

The Mechanoid Invasion is the first Invasion following the release of Aelion’s Call which introduced the features of Invasion Atlases and Operations. During an active invasion all players are able to participate in adventures with representatives of that invading army. Once complete, players will earn tokens which will help the player to gain Sparks for that faction’s Atlus. This provides rewards such as bonuses when fighting members of that force, some stat improvements, and most importantly, new Symbols.

Another feature of this Invasion is Operations. “Upon receiving Tokens, you will be placed into an Operation group which consists of up to 40 other players. After this happens, all information regarding your current Operation can be accessed on the Aelinet in game or online through your browser.” With this feature, you work together to complete the Operation’s goal as well as your personal assignment. However, players are also in a competition with each other to lead with the most tokens for the greatest rewards. Each day the Operation will move to the next tier with only the most elite players from the previous tier moving on for a chance at even greater rewards.

  1. I liked skyforge just because the idea of an MMO with Sci-Fi identity, something rare nowadays. But also the seriously of how things are in the Lore, but i need to say, Skyforge has A LOT of repetitive content, but we also need to know that, we’re still in Open Beta, so we can’t wait much although Allods Team are completely capable of change a lot of things, I SAW MYSELF how they use with accuracy the community feedback, I still believe in Skyforge, is an awesome game and each maintencement for new content arrive i hold my breath more deeper. D:

    • I think i’ll hold my wine bottle firmer instead and watch it all crumble if they don’t change it in time.
      And then.. i’ll probably go to die slow and painful death from boredom in the next “big” thing.

    • I’d play the game, if the game wasn’t about becoming a god and being able to switch classes at any given moment. Same with Skyrim – not a bad game, but when I found out, the major part of the game is the “epicness” of fighting dragons, I never played it again. Things like this are way too retarded for my taste.

  2. Someone who can play about 1 – 2 hours daily, will it be possible to reach the limits?
    I played in closed beta and got bored quite fast, is it still so boring?

  3. As the previous invasion this one also must be having be 30K+ prestige a.k.a divine form unlocked.

    30K prestige is not that easy to get to considering how repetitive and boring game is between 10k to 30k prestige and not to forget those weekly limits lol.

    That catch system is so lame that only benefits player who just started and it gets diminished when reached to higher prestige.

    This game is not gonna be a good one until they either increase faster and more content to mid game or decrease the prestige requirement for god form and invasions.

      • yup exactly the content is very much repetitive and grind is very high and considering those limits the game is only optimal to play after giving gap 2-3 weeks to get huge limit.But then again the repetitiveness will still be there.
