Skyforge's Shadow Of Aelion Coming To Switch April 13
About a month and a half after launching Skyforge on the Nintendo Switch in February, My.Games has announced the first big update for the game on the system. Titled Shadow of Aelion, the update takes players to the moon. Well, not THE moon, but Thea, a moon orbiting Aelion. Like our moon, the new region is low on gravity and big on danger.
This is not a place that anyone was intended to be, especially alone. Not only do players have to contend with the atmosphere, dangerous terrain, and a new host of enemies. There's also meteor showers to worry about. Of course, players who manage to survive all of this and take their new foes out will be rewarded, this time with an all new resource that can be used to unlock class talents.
Shadow of Aelion doesn't just introduce new content. It will also bring several fixes designed to reduce crashes and other issues players on Switch have been experiencing since launch. This is in addition to the various fixes that have already been released.
Players can also look forward to additional events launching alongside the new update. The first is the Phytonide Invasion, which introduces new seasonal challenges and rewards. The other is the Aelion Day event, which celebrates six years of Skyforge with new quests, activities, and rewards.
