Splitgate’s Beta Season 2 Brings Changes to Leveling System
Players are also given a new way to flex their skills with new badges.
New updates are being made with the release of Splitgate’s Beta Season 2. To start, when players first log in to Beta Season 2, their level will be different because the leveling system has changed and therefore will automatically adjust to the new Pro system. For example, a player at level 254 has a total of 5,972,100 XP, that accumulated XP will put the player at their new level: Pro 2 Level 61. So, while a player’s number will change, the XP remains the same. Players should level even faster considering they will have a 4% boost to their XP.
Another new introduction to Beta Season 2 is a new type of item called badges. Badges are unlockable items players can earn by completing certain challenges. Winning a certain number of matches or getting a lot of headshots are just two ways of many to earn badges. After a player unlocks a badge they can show them off on their player card. At the start of Beta Season 2 players will be able to decide which badges they want to showcase.
Players can enjoy the start of Splitgate’s Beta Season 2 on June 2.
