Star Wars Invades Fortnite In The Battle Royale’s Next Season
It was only a matter of time.
It looks like players will be celebrating May the 4th in Fortnite this year, and in a pretty big way too. A new trailer dropped for the battle royale’s next season over the weekend, filled with Jedi, Sith… and a character in a terrifying Wookie costume.
The new season, which seems to also include battles using X-Wings and other things we’d all expect from something Star Wars-themed, kicks off on May 2 – just in time to celebrate one of the nerdiest of all holidays. As you can see in the trailer below, the season will also include some of your favorite Star Wars characters.
Epic has yet to post the details on the new season. That said, there are two new updates on the site today. The first offers players a chance to win a White Widow outfit by winning a Battle Royale Cup. The other details what players can expect throughout the rest of April, which is mostly Lego-focused.
