Tactical RPG Waven Goes Into Early Access On August 16
It's a cozy online tactical RPG that is quite a bit of fun.
Recently I got to go hands-on with Ankama's upcoming online tactical RPG Waven, and I enjoyed my time in the game quite a bit. As of August 16th everyone will be able to play Waven as the game heads into Early Access on that date.
Waven will be available via both Steam and the Ankama launcher, and will feature three different founder's packs containing in-game currency, pets, visual effects, and more.
The PC Early Access for Waven will begin with a short narrative prologue before diving into the more than 250 quests available in the game. There will be 17 locations to visit, 25 heroes to discover, 90 companions to collect, and 300 spells to equip for turn-based combat. Some features such as Island Defense and the main story quest won't be available until Waven launches later in 2023.
Early Access will be available for PC and Mac, with the official launch of Waven later this year slated for release on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
