Take On The Big Boss In World Of Tanks Blitz's Limited Time Event
Boss tank deals 30% more damage and has four times the HP.
The latest mode to be added to World of Tanks: Blitz is being billed as "Action RPG-like," as it offers respawns, special abilities, and a boss to defeat. If it dropped 30 pieces of loot that you had to scoop up, then it would be a real ARPG.
Teams of seven will square off in PvP battles, with one member of each team being designated the "Big Boss," with 30% more damage and speed, 50% faster reloads, and four times the HP. It also has two special abilities, Blast Wave and Megashot, but can only respawn twice per battle.
All other tanks in a match have infinite respawns and have their own special abilities they can bring to bear, in five levels that they can upgrade.
Every Boss kill is worth five points, with kills of regular tanks counting for one. The first team to 30 points is the winner.
You'll need a Tier V to X tank to compete in the mode, and you can earn one -- the Tier V American T67 tank destroyer -- in a special quest until February 13. The Big Boss mode itself runs in two phases, February 3-6 and February 10-13. Learn more about the mode here.
