Take Part In Gladiatorial Battles In The New 'Standalone' FPS Game Escape from Tarkov Arena
Closed Beta testing will start in the fall of this year.
In Battlestate Game’s newest ‘standalone game project’, players will be able to take part in gladiatorial battles in a number of arenas in the city of Tarkov. These battles have been organized by a mysterious group of Arena Masters led by the Host. This news comes from Escape from Tarkov's official Twitter. Here they explain that Escape from Tarkov Arena is going to be a session-based multiplayer first-person shooter for PC and is said to have all the known and beloved hardcore game mechanics of Escape from Tarkov.
Now, for players fortunate enough to own the Edge of Darkness edition, Arena will be available for free as DLC. No extra payment needed. Sadly, for all other versions of EFT, the Arena will need to be purchased. Of course players always have the option of purchasing the Arena version separately without buying the main game. The new title is currently scheduled to start closed beta testing in the autumn of this year.
In addition, Escape From Tarkov Arena will also feature various PvP and PvE game modes, ratings, weapon and gear unlocks, and unique features for owners of the main Escape from Tarkov game, like the ability to play as your main profile character. As more news drops, we will be sure to keep you up to date on all the important information.
