Exoprimal, the co-op, dino blasting shooter coming from Capcom in 2023 certainly has had our interest since it was announced. I mean, who doesn't want to blast away massive hoards of dinosaurs that look like this all while wearing a sweet exosuit full of technology?

But what about story? We all expect a deep, compelling narrative for a game like this, don't we?

Ok, probably not...and today's story reveal trailer from TGS 2002 shows that the story is probably going to be about as absurd as you had hoped it would be.

Basically, we humans stupidly asked an AI named Leviathan to improve our Exosuits, a super hyped up mech-like outfit exofighters wear. The AI will complete that goal no matter what and to do so has pretty much gone berserk and summoned waves of dinosaurs to fight off.

Exohunters are caught between using the suits to fight off these threats and not wanting to wear the suits as that supplies Leviathan with data. Dilemma, dilemma.

When it releases next year, Exoprimal will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
