The Tyranid Get Some Love In Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge’s Next Update
The new Tyranid Prime Warlord leads the way.
Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge has a new content update on the way. On February 1, Everguild will release the card game’s first update of the year ‘Leviathan Reinforcement Drop: Terror of Verdenghast’. This update gives a lot of love to the Tyranid – expanding the Hive Fleet Leviathan card collection and introducing the new Warlord, the Winged Tyranid Prime. The titular Terror of Verdenghast, this Warlord torments the enemy with flying attacks. He is also accompanied by impressive new units like the Neurotyrant and the Norn Emissary.
As noted, this is the first of what will be several updates throughout 2024. While smaller content drops, they are intended to improve factions and will introduce new Warlords and around 10 cards each time. Both will either complement the faction being updated or add new deck archetypes. As each update drops, they will include new draft rewards and bundle deals in the shop.
On an added note, Achievements will be introduced as well. These are intended to give players something to work forward to and offer a better gameplay experience.
