The World Of Skull And Bones Is Changing In Season 2 And Solo Players Get More Content
Enter the Hubac Twins and the Chorus Fleet.
A new season in Skull and Bones means a new endgame. Players of the pirate game will find themselves facing a new threat to their empires – the Hubac Twins. They, and the Compagnie Royale, are having an impact on the smuggling operations in the Indian Ocean and as a result, players will have more challenges with taking over and running Manufactories. The Helm is changing how they provide services and players will need to meet new requirements to keep their operations up and running.
With the launch of Season 2 on May 28th, players will have access to Fleet Management and be able to automate collecting Pieces of Eight from their manufactories. As time goes on and there are more seasons, other functions will be added to help players maintain their empires. As for the feature being added in Season 2, players will need to have their Manufactory at level 4 in order to access it. From there, players can assign one of their ships, fund them, and send them on a voyage. They just need to keep an eye on the risk factor.
Season 2 will also introduce ship upgrades. Now, players can improve ship stats and unlock perks. They do, however, need to reach the rank of Kingpin in order to access this feature. Another new addition in Season 2 is Helm Leases, or certificates that the Helm offers players allowing them to claim ownership of a Manufactory. Players can also look forward to a couple of new game modes. Deeper rundowns on each of these features can be found on the Skull and Bones site.
