Genfanad: A Generic Fantasy Adventure

Genfanad has continued to evolve from its original concept, and now the game has become an MMORPG-TCG hybrid and a demo is up on Steam now.

Genfanad: A Generic Fantasy Adventure, developed and published by Rose Tinted Games, is a game where players engage in deckbuilding, confront bosses, explore dungeons, and participate in cooperative quests. Set in the world of Nuublandia, they join forces with other adventurers to tackle challenges and make their mark in an ever-evolving fantasy realm.

With a focus on social interaction, Genfanad offers players the opportunity to team up with others to defeat foes or engage in intense PvP battles. They can also choose to pursue non-combat activities such as mining, smithing, and botany. There are 16 unique skills to level up.

The main draw of the game, though, is its extensive card collection system, with over 250 cards to earn, collect, and trade. These cards can be used to craft powerful decks for strategic gameplay. The developers said they aim to provide a steady stream of updates, ensuring that players always have new quests to embark on, locations to explore, and cards to discover.

It's even better than I was expecting! It really is a unique MMO experience. It's still only in its beta testing phase, but I think it shows a lot of promise. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for it.
