Undermine(d) Comes To World Of Warcraft And Now It's Time To Build Your Goblin Car
The team also had BigTime build a real version and it's awesome.
It's time to ally yourself with the goblin cartels in the city of Undermine. World of Warcraft's latest addition to The War Within, Undermine(d), is available today and that means new quests, new zones, and a snazzy new way to scoot about town courtesy of the technical prowess of the goblins. Explosions included free of charge, I'm sure. As of this writing, we're still waiting on maintenance to end. We expect servers to be back up around 6 PM EST, barring any issues, of course. (UPDATE: The patch went live on time and is up now.)
While PvP players get a new map and PvE players get new dungeon content, quests, and a raid (that last once is coming next week on the 4th), my personal favorite addition is your very own customizable D.R.I.V.E. vehicle. Throughout the update, you'll be able to earn or buy custom options for your very own car based on goblin tech. Content specific to the vehicle also arrives and Blizzard even teamed up with BigTime to create a real-life version of one such vehicle. I'm sure BigTime's is far less likely to explode than yours will be, though. The awesome video is below.
The full patch notes for the MMORPG's update have been covered already here on MMOBomb, but if you missed out, take a trip through them before things go live. They include additional details on everything from the new world boss to the season's new gear sets.
For those of you on the Cataclysm Classic side of the WoW fence, Baradin Hold: Alizabal dropped today, too.
