Upcoming Open-World Survival Crafting Game Nightingale Introduces Third-Person Mode
This is a win for accessibility!
I don’t know about you guys, but I much prefer third-person over first-person…so much so that it makes or breaks a game for me.
Well good news for me (and my third-person brethren out there), Nightingale has introduced a third-person mode based on feedback from fans during playtests. While the default mode remains first-person, the addition of third-person mode is seen as a significant win for accessibility, particularly benefiting players prone to motion sickness.
While the original Tweet (X, whatever) has been taken down, the original video is still up and the original Tweet read:
Whether it's for accessibility purposes or preference, we heard your requests 😊

The upcoming open-world survival crafting game developed by Inflexion Games aims to have this mode ready for its early access launch in late 2023.
