Rift’s upcoming 2.7 patch is taking the “everyone can do everything” approach with the introduction of four new souls for each major class. Traditionally Rift has been one of the best MMORPGs for any indecisive gamer, as the multi-soul MMO allows players to freely swap between widely different specs which best suit their playstyle, although not every class has a suitable soul for every role. Update 2.7 aims to change that, completing the trinity circle and giving each class a new soul based on what role they were previously unable to perform.
The news that stout Warriors can now be masters of healing pain instead of dishing it out and Mages, once deemed the squishiest of them all in most MMOs, now welcome mobs in melee range as an elemental brute, have had some asking “how well does each of the classes perform at their new role?” . The answer, according to a newly released video series by Redditor Seatin, is really well. Make that, extremely well.
Seatin’s four part video series goes in-depth with each of Rift’s latest souls the Physician (Rogue Healing), Oracle (Cleric Support), Liberator (Warrior Healing) and Arbiter (Mage Tank) while measuring up their performance in comparison to their existing competition in end-game content. Check them out below and let us know what new soul excites you the most!

BLUEBERRIES SON!
Oh, for once it’s a different dumbass from the usual dumbasses, how terrific.
i agree that only dumb ass’s would say mounted son out of context. which is why i commented in a mocking form that made just as much sense as their mounted nonsense. i dont however appreciate being called a dumb ass. i also dont know why they’d even let you post any sort of mean comment being that my earlier comment was removed and i never called anyone anything. just mocked them and educated them on the true meaning of the word mounted providing a link to the urban dictionary. so i like and hate your comment all at the same time.douche
