Patch 0.2.7 is now live for DUELYST II, a free-to-play competitive tactics game by indie developer Dream Sloth Games.

The update includes revisions of The Gauntlet, improvements for Shard bundles, 13 card changes, and some QoL alterations as well as bug fixes. The patch will also release a sizable revamp to daily quests later in the month.

Regarding The Gauntlet, players can now see the exact cross-faction cards in their opponent's deck to avoid blindsiding effects. Also, MMR has been integrated into the mode to give players more achievements to strive for. Additionally, perfect runs now give an additional random reward, making them more exciting. Lastly, some card weights have been adjusted to improve the game experience. More on The Gauntlet adjustments can be found here.

As for Shards, the value of bundles has been increased. The 2300, 6200, and 13000 Shard bundles now offer 2500, 7000, and 17500 Shards, respectively. Players who bought these bundles before the update will receive the difference in shards.

Finally, card changes include Divine Bond, Cyclone Mask, Hamon Bladeseeker, Panddo, Syzygy, Sand Howler, Abyssal Juggernaut, Plasma Storm, Silithar Elder, Mesmerize, and Spirit of the Wild. The changes aim to make the gameplay experience smoother, reduce awkwardness and frustration, and encourage diversity in the use of cards.
