World of Warships: Legends’ 8.0 Update Kicks Off First Campaign Of 2026
Work your way through 100 milestones to earn new rewards.
Today, Wargaming dropped World of Warships: Legends’ first content update for the new year. The 8.0 update kicks off the free-to-play naval shooter’s new Born of Battle campaign, Wave 7 of Azure Lane, a new French Navy event, and more.
The Born of Battle campaign runs until February 23, during which time, players can work through 100 milestones and related rewards, including camouflages, crates, and other items. Players who complete the campaign with Admiralty backing will earn the British Tier VIII Premium destroyer Somme, equipped with stealthy long-range torpedoes and the Torpedo Reload Booster.
The new Azure Lane content runs until February 23 as well and introduces five new Azur Lane Commanders, a new Italian Tier VII Premium Battleship, a German Tier VIII Premium cruiser, and other vessels. Then there’s the new French Navy event, which offers players skins for French battleships via special crates.
