Apex Legends Steam Release Date Announced, Switch Version Delayed
We have a little good news and a little bad news for Apex Legends players waiting for the platform versions announced earlier this year. First off, the good news. If you're a PC player who's been waiting for the game to come to Steam, your wait is almost over. According to an announcement from EA, players can expect the Steam launch along with the Season 7 update on November 4. Those of you who were already playing on Origin will be able to carry your progress between the two platforms.
Now, for the bad news. If you were waiting on the Nintendo Switch version, you're going to have to wait a while longer. We're not exactly sure when the game will hit Nintendo's console, except that it will be some time next year. The upside is that when it does arrive, it will include cross-platform play, the latest seasonal content available at the time, and match other versions of the game.
