The survival game will also be released on Xbox X|S and PlayStation 5 in November.
Being rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, ARK: Survival Ascended features a new physics system, extensive quality-of-life improvements, cross-platform modding, and cross-platform multiplayer.
“In ARK the creative community has developed and shared a wide range of impressive mods that PC players enjoy,” said Thomas Williamson, CEO and technical director of Grove Street Games. “We’re excited to bring these to the console players as well, so now all Survivors have access to the brilliant mods that enhance and evolve the ARK experience!”
Check out the new gameplay release trailer to see the visual improvements to the game, and then check it out on Steam later today to get your hands on what UE5 can do for a game.
