PSO2 Moongazing Event

Not long after SEGA's September 2022 update trailer reveal and global launch on PlayStation 4, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has made its Moon-Gazing 2022 event available with new content and cosmetics. However, the event comes in two parts across September. The first is already available, and the second update adding new floating boarding courses debuts on September 21.

Arriving with the Moon-Gazing event are yellow and gold changes to the leaves in-game, bringing autumn and seasonal decorations around Central City, Region Mags, and the Aelio Region. These updates have attracted New Genesis' fluffy mascots: Moongaze Rappy, Emperappy, and Great Rappy, which the devs say players should keep an eye out for in-game. Also, the Moon-Gazing event introduces a Drill: Moonlight Invasion limited-time quest, where players fight alongside returning characters in Aelio. Following, the Season Points Exchange Shop features the 6-star Rarity Codeck Weapon Series, limited-edition cosmetic items, and materials that players can obtain.

While it's a little under two weeks away, the second part of the Moon-Gazing event plans to bring two new floating board courses: Central Aelio and Central Retem Board. There will also be new field races, titles, and a +50% EXP event for Yellow Triggers until October 5. You can read more on the specifics of the event on the New Genesis website or watch the trailer below!
