War Robots Celebrates 12 Years With The Martian Robotic Games Event
After all these years, the game is still growing.

The original War Robots is turning 12. Over the last decade or so, the free-to-play mecha shooter has made the move from mobile devices to PC. According to a press release from MY.GAMES it continues to grow. In fact, they state that its growth is about 20 million players year-to-year, or around 1.7 million a month. The end result is that it currently has 325 registered users. (Although it’s worth keeping in mind that “registered users” and “users playing the game” are not the same thing.)
To celebrate the anniversary, the developer is hosting an in-game event titled Martian Robotic Games. This is a large event inspired by athletic competitions. During the Games, players will choose a faction to represent in battles. Of course, they’ll earn rewards, but the ultimate goal is to prove their faction is the best one.
In addition, MY.GAMES is hosting the “War Robots Live Show”. This real-world event is already underway and will last for six weeks. During this time, special episodes featuring community challenges, creator highlights, announcements, and more will be shared on the War Robots YouTube channel.
