Battlefield 2042 Renewal

Players in the recent Battlefield 2042 open beta saw plenty of action on the game's Orbital map, but that was just one of the many locales that soldiers will have to do their dirty business on. Electronic Arts and DICE today showed off a trailer highlighting three more maps that will be in the game when it launches next month. The maps will be usable in all three of BF2042's game modes: All-Out Warfare, Battlefield Portal, and Hazard Zone.

Renewal is set in an Egyptian desert with a solar array power station on one side and research facility on the other, separated by a wall with limited entry points. Breakaway is located in Antarctica, where tall glaciers take the place of high-rise buildings found in more urban battlegrounds. Finally, Discarded is a flooded village in India, where the husk of a Colossus ship has settled and stray tornadoes wander through.

Battlefield 2042 launches on November 19, with early access participants getting a headstart on the 12th. You can learn more about the game, and pre-order to get that early access on the Battlefield site.
