War Robots’ Next Update Will Introduces a Lovecraftian-Inspired Sniper
It features the ability to “corner-shoot”.

War Robots, the tactical PvP shooter from My.Games will be dropping its next big update on May 24. When it does, it will kick off The Shadow over Shore event, in which players will fight exile EvoLife pilots and biomechanical nightmares in a derelict city.
In keeping with the theme of this city, which happens to be on a coast, a new Lovecraftian-inspired mech with the ability to “corner-shoot” is being introduced. If you’re wondering, it manages this feat by elevating its weapons and firing over cover.
In addition, new cannons built to fire vertical energy blades that can slice through space are being introduced. As is the R’lyeh Mothership. This can spawn a “Funnel of Doom” zone and drain durability from combatants while preventing them from repairing or healing. Finally, the Ultimate Rhino is back with new unbreakable shields.
The new content was revealed during the War Robots Live show series yesterday. The stream also featured a special cinematic highlighting the Martian Robotic Games, seen below.
