Battlefield 2042 Season 6: Dark Creations Is Live With A New Map, New Weapons, And More

Season 6 of Battlefield 2042 is now live, and with it comes a new map, new weapons, new gadgets, and gameplay improvements in the shooter.
The new map is set in a secret tech-research facility performing highly classified experiments. It is inspired by fan-favorite maps of the past like Operation Locker from Battlefield 4, and is called Redacted. It is the first new map in the franchise to feature a completely indoor subterranean environment.
New weapons include the VHX D3 - a futuristic assault rifle, the L9CZ - a semi-automatic sidearm, and the G428 - an all new DMR.
In the new gadgets section we have ammo and medical pouches, and the new vehicle is the YUV-2 "Pondhawk", a two-person transport featuring flight capabilities.
Battlefield 2042 will be available for free on all platforms from October 12-16, so you can try out all the new Season 6 changes.
