ArenaNet Announces Guild Wars Reforged Mobile Launch
The game will have ads.
Starting this summer, Guild Wars Reforged players will be able to take the game with them on the go. ArenaNet announced a summer launch for the MMORPG earlier today. According to the announcement, the game will be available to download for free “as an ad-supported client”. Players will be able to play the original PropheciesTM campaign.
That said, if you want to play the rest of the expansions, you’ll need to purchase them. Each will run £6.49 if bought separately. This will allow them to sync their characters with their ArenaNet accounts and play across multiple devices. The other features unlocked with the purchase are chat, trading, and ad removal. In addition, The Eye of the NorthTM expansion and Bonus Mission Pack will cost players £8.99 and £5.49, respectively. Those who already own Guild Wars Reforged and have an existing ArenaNet account will be able to sync across devices without having to pay more.
Pre-registration is open for the game on the Google Play game page. It will be coming to Apple’s App Store soon.
