Snail Games has announced that the first expansion for the free-to-play MMORPG, Black Gold, will go live on November 24th. "Bloodied Tides" will be free DLC for all players to jump right into and features a pretty wide array of additional content, new races, and a new class.

The expansion will raise Black Gold's level cap to 50 and adds 2 new dungeons to the game. The 5-person dungeon, Grave of Kings, features 5 new bosses and the 10-player dungeon, Vagrad, adds 5 new bosses as well...but don't look to the game's web site to show you the final boss's skills as apparently no one has survived long enough to tell the tale.

Other additions include 2 new races, the Upyrians and the Aurek, as well as a new class, the Brawler. This class is capable of both melee and ranged combat and uses a combination of fist weapons and a magical staff.

Bloodied Tides adds 3 new zones to Black Gold, a 3v3 arena mode, and removed the vouchers previously used to purchase time vials. Vials are now free.

That's a pretty big expansion and that doesn't even cover the new aquatic carriers! Check out the new expansion page and let us know what you think of the Bloodied Tides expansion.

This game is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD and i mean it, it's like THE bad of bad boiled and grilled in bad with bad toppings and bad spices on it.
The only thing i ever liked is the character designs they're the only good thing in this game, rest is total waste of resources, this game needs complete overhaul.

this game really had potential, but with crappy chinese developers along with Snail Games USA this game was doomed from the beginning. The game had horrible network optimization. I would connect to the server with a 50ms ping get in the game and it would go from about 100ms-10000ms. Usually at the 10k mark you would get kicked. I've played SEA games, i've played EU games and never had latency issues like i had for this game with US servers. Talking with the American development team is a joke as they pretty much have no control over the game as my guild was told in multiple responses from them. This game should have never went into OBT when it did, which is why it's still in OBT even though they have a retail version out. Snail games put more money then they should have in this game realized they weren't making any money in China and forced it on US/EU players thinking we would be stupid enough to dump every last dollar we had on black gold.
