Broken Ranks’ Latest Update Includes A Roguelite-Inspired Mode
The new mode is faster and unpredictable.

Broken Ranks' newest update is now available for players to experience. In addition to the other content, the update introduces something new to the MMORPG, bringing a roguelite-inspired experience titled Trials of the Lodge to the game with a new mode.
Designed for players who have reached level 35 or higher, the new mode features randomly generated runs and is intended to be part of the players’ weekly routines with ‘faster pacing, a high degree of unpredictability, and tactical, “in-the-moment” decision-making’. Everything from the map’s layout to rewards changes in each attempt. In addition, as players progress, they can choose the next step, adding to the variety. Players also have the choice of attempting the challenge alone or going with a group.
The new mode is part of a new progression system with all attempts, including failed ones, rewarding players with a special currency that can be used to enhance their characters and unlock buffs that can be used throughout the game. Players will even be able to gain the new Infusions enhancement, which will allow them to improve a stat of their choice. A new system that will let players increase their combat effectiveness has also been introduced. More details on the new mode and other features can be found on the Broken Ranks site.
